Surprisingly, the benefits of sea salt on the skin, hair, nails, and body, in general, are enormous. It plays a vital role in the maintenance of your health. Sodium is important for muscle and nerve function, it is used to regulate the number of fluids in the body. Sodium is vital in controlling blood pressure and volume. Although sodium is vitally important, anyone who consumes too much of it might have hypertension or worse, high blood pressure, a condition that can cause serious health challenges such as heart disease, kidney disease, stroke and much more.
Chloride ions function as significant electrolytes by adjusting pressure and blood pH to normal. But first, what is an electrolyte? Electrolytes produce electrically conducting solution when dissolved in water or any other polar solvents. Chloride ions are necessary for the formation of (HCL) known as stomach acid, which plays an integral role in the digestion process. Humans eliminate waste, for example, salt via sweat and urine, and these minerals must be replenished through diet for normal body function.
