6. Limit Makeup

A 2010 study claims that French green clay is go-to clay with healing properties. The claim is also claimed to possess antibacterial properties. Applying the clay on your skin helps bring out impurities and absorbs excess oil that can cause acne. 

You can mix powder clay with water to use as a face mask. You can also enrich the claim more by adding other acne treatment ingredients – such as honey and yogurt. 

13. Cut Back Certain Foods
